Its my senior year and my hair grows really slowly! I got it cut about 10 months ago and it has barely grown. I bought the extensions but i dont have an iron to apply the preglued extensions with. If i bring them to the place where i get my hair done usually do you think they will apply them for me?

if its a small local salon then they probably will but if its quite a big one like in the middle of town then no, like the girl above said, bigger companies like to make shitloads of money by chargin exesively for the actual extensions

dont bother i had hair extensions ive had them all and they make you have bold patches and your hair drops out trust me its happend to me

As a mobile hairdresser If one of my clients want the extensions put in that they have bought then I'll do it for them, if they book with me in advance. Some hairdressers don't do extensions so they wouldn't be able to help you. You could always ask them if they would put them in for you, otherwise you will have to find someone that can do them. More likely to have a mobile hairdresser than going to a salon. Small places maybe more likely to do it that larger salons.

I'm no professional, but I keep my hair in braid extensions. I do them myself and I have had them done.

real hair pros- looks silkier

cons- slips out easily, harder to braid, pricey

synthetic pros- less expensive, easier to braid and keep from slipping out

cons- must maintain with oils to keep silky look and texture

I heard that real hair is a lot better...although you would have to spend more money on it the results are nicer hair. The synthetic hair tends to be more "nappy" and also real hair you can actually color and it has a natural shine or sheen to it. So it really depends on how much you want to spend.

I've always wanted to do it but it's really expensive and only temporary. Plus if you're going from really short to really long and then back, everyone knows it's fake. So if you have the money and don't care about drastic changes, go for it. I've never heard of unhealthy results to your hair.

real hair looks better and you can put heat to it( straighten and curl)

it is more expensive,but lasts longer

synthetic can only be styled as it is made(straight stays straight and curly stays curly)

it gets nappy easy and it tend to look cheap

it is less expensive and simple to put in

If ANYTHING bleach the extensions then dye them brown, but a really dark brown because they will come out lighter.

I don't know why your question was removed, but it costs anything from about 鎷?50 to 鎷?00 to get hair extensions. The cost is dependent on how much hair you want, what length, what quality and what brand and type. In my personal experience, Racoon is the best brand, as they use only human hair and each extension is individually bonded to your natural hair. Even within Racoon though, they do different grades of hair (European or Oriental) which are different prices. Most salons that do them will give you a consultation, including a quote, for free, but also bear in mind that to keep them looking good you will need regular 6-weekly maintenance visits at around 鎷?00 a time.

It depends on which type of extension %26amp; length you are looking for... greatlengnths are bonded individually to the hair strand so it grows out with your hair. these usually last about 6 months and start around $1000. Roquel Welsh has a line or real hair clip in extentions that run for about $250. These are put in by you daily. Jessics Simpson also has a line or synthetic %26amp; real hair extentions that also clip in, the synthectic run about $95 and the real hair runs about $500. All are great quality and look very natural.

If you can take proper care of your own hair and do all that is required and are mature enough and responsible enough to properly care for the extensions, (it's a lot of extra work!!) then you're probably old enough. I'll be doing a set on a high school girl here soon, and she's paying for them herself.
