What should I do with my hair?

I went blonde for about 7 months and totally destroyed my hair. Its so bad people describe it as "cotton" I've decided to grow it out now, but its just like every time I go to the salon they cut off 1 inch and I'm afraid I'm going to have like 3 inches of hair by the end of the year. So I've kinda set my mind to cutting my hair short and getting extensions until my hair grows out. Where can I get some good quality extensions, for a better price, and what method works the best for keeping my hair its healthiest?

Well, for a while, you should not chemically treat your hair. You should also avoid using a curling or straightening iron on your hair as they contribute to the damage. Try to find a way to style your hair without using a hair dryer too, if you can.

It's good that you're not using shampoo all the time. I really like Wen Cleansing Conditioner by Chaz Dean (http://www.chazdean.com/). It replaces the need for both shampoo and conditioner. And you can leave a small amount in your hair as a leave-in conditioner for extra protection from damage.

You probably want to avoid getting hair extensions at the salon as the "heat sealing" method they use to bond the extensions to your hair will damage your hair. I'm sure you don't want that.

Clip in hair extensions are a great way to go. They are least likely to damage and can even protect your hair.

I like Jessica Simpson's Hairdo brand clip in extensions. They come in both synthetic and human hair. Synthetic ones are less expensive and a good place to start for beginners. They last about 3 months. Hairdo's human hair extensions are top of the line. They cost $450 and last a year or longer.

I don't suggest getting extensions.

Just try grrowing it out. until you can grow it out, just try flat ironing it into a cute little bottom-curled do and wash it well.

Instead of just getting (expensive) Extensions.... just dye your hair your natural color and then wait for it to grow out all the way... Then while it is growing out... you won't notice the color change!! If you want to keep your hair healthy just use lots of conditioner (none of that cheap junk though...) Try garnier or dove! Theyw ork great!

well dont die it i mean highlights are ok but dont die it. um dont put to much conditioner in it and i read that every time you take a shower dont wash it just scrub your hair....
