a while back i bought clip-in extensions for my hair that are 100% human hair.
My hair has gotten darker over the last year, and i tried dying them, but now they are a bit TOO dark.
Is there anyway to get the dye to fade a little bit--not completely wash away the color, but just get it to look lighter?

Maybe try dyeing it a shade lighter, or just buying another pair.

Yes, there is. wet them down and saturate them with dish soap. Before rinsing the soap out, warm the extension with a blow dryer. About 10 minutes should do it. Then rinse out the soap. If its STILL not light enough you may have to do this a few times. When you are satisfied with the color, put a little shine spray on it to soften it after all of that soap.
