Well, it depends on what color your hair is. The girl is talking about (if you have darker hair) you have to bleach your hair first, so it turns blonde. And then you can dye it purple, or whatever color you want. If you try to dye your hair a color (as in: red, blue, green, etc.) without bleaching it (and your hair is dark) it won't show up as well.

just use hair dye and highlight your hair with whatever colors you want... unless you have a professional do it that is really good at it- hair extensions don't look good.
